I’m Shantal Frisbie, a NASM-certified Personal Trainer with a lifelong love for health and fitness. I’ve always been active and enjoy rock climbing, traditional strength training, powerlifting, calisthenics, and more. Over the last five years working in the medical industry, I’ve seen firsthand that lifestyle and prevention are some of the most powerful tools we have for long-term health.
For me, working out isn’t just about athletic performance, it’s about improving the quality of everyday life. While I love getting into the gym and throwing weights around, what matters most is feeling capable in the real world, whether that’s exploring new places or carrying my little nephew up and down a hill with ease. My goal as a personal trainer is to help you feel better in your body and build strong, sustainable habits that last a lifetime.
Designing Your Program
What does working with me look like? Let’s break it down:
We meet for an intake session at my private studio to review your fitness and health history, conduct assessments, and talk about what everyday fitness looks like for you.
I design your fitness program tailored to your goals and schedule. We’ll meet at least once a week in-person, and the rest of your workouts will be on the Truecoach app, where you can track progress, habits, see example videos, and message me.
Your program will evolve with you as you get stronger and progress. I’ll help you hit specific athletic goals, learn new skills, and improve overall mobility and stability.
*Note: this is my foundational approach, but I am happy to modify it to meet your needs and availability. Perhaps you want to meet more than once a week or prefer pen-and-paper to an app. We can do that!
Choose Your Program
This is a more comprehensive version of my core program to help you set goals, make progress, and stay consistent. Advanced Fitness comes with 4 one hour sessions per month with me, giving us more time to work on mastering movements and improving mobility, or you can choose 8 half hour sessions per month with me so that you’re getting more feedback and accountability. It’s paid on a month-to-month basis and can be canceled at any time.
It comes with:

Regular check-ins from me and continual modification to your program as your progress.
This is my core program to help you set goals, make progress, and stay consistent. Foundation Fitness is everything you need to build good fitness habits and stick to them. It’s paid on a month-to-month basis and can be canceled at any time. Each personal training session is 30 minutes. If you’re looking for more in-depth coaching and time, then the Advanced Fitness program may be a better fit.

Regular check-ins from me and continual modification to your program as your progress.
This is a single training session in my private studio to address a short-term goal, movement issue, or to workshop a specific skill. For example, if you want to learn how to properly do a pull up, you can book a single session. Other examples are calisthenics skills (pistol squat, arm levers, handstand), proper form with kettlebells, addressing pain in specific movements, or how to put together a well rounded stretching routine. This single session does not include access to my app or a workout program.
This program comes with an in-person or virtual intake session, a personalized fitness plan, free app access to see your workouts, track progress, and message me, and weekly check-ins to monitor and motivate. I will tailor your fitness plan to whatever workout equipment you have access to, from bodyweight only to a full gym. You also have the option to add in-person training. It’s paid on a month-to-month basis and can be canceled at any time.

While fitness and movement are crucial for health, nutrition is just as important. As a NASM certified Nutrition Coach, I can help you tailor a nutrition plan to help you feel your best and get the most out of your workouts. This program comes with:
A nutrition consultation session to review your current nutrition habits and establish goals.
Individualized coaching on building better habits to maximize your health.
Weekly check ins and tracking to help you hit your goals.
Free use of the Cronometer gold app to monitor nutrition and implement nutrition adjustments.
